Our church recently hosted Tom Schreiner (professor of New Testament at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) for a conference on assurance and perseverance. Below are the videos of the event. The first is an overview of the biblical teaching on these issues. Schreiner does a good job of highlighting tensions while letting the text speak. The second video is his final talk given on Sunday morning where he puts everything together in a helpful way.
