I love this new ministry emphasis from Desiring God. The Look at the Book devotional series as well as the regional conferences are driven by the title: getting you to look at God’s word more closely. What will this accomplish? Knowing the Bible better will help you know God better. It is his word. It is where he reveals himself. It is how we abide in fellowship with the Triune God. So, look at the Book.
In this recent regional conference, John Piper walks us through Romans 9, which is one of the most challenging chapters in the Bible. But, it should also be one of the most encouraging. Paul wants us to see in that chapter: The Word of God has not failed.
