Earlier this year, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary hosted a 9Marks conference on the mark “Biblical Theology.” What is biblical theology? In short, it’s the study of the storyline of the Bible. How does God progressively reveal himself through redemptive history? How does the Old and New Testament fit together? How does the person and work of Christ permeate all of the Bible? These are the kind of questions biblical theology seeks to answer.
For the busy pastor, biblical theology is an important tool for reading, preaching, and teaching any text of the Bible the way God intends. Take time to digest these talks on biblical theology and you’ll be able to do that better.
I’ve posted the videos below, but if you prefer the audio, grab it by clicking here. (You’ll also find previous 9Marks conference resources at that link.)
