Any Good Resources on Jonah?

For those of you who read my blog regularly, you know I’ve haven’t been very active in a while!  For the last several months, I’ve been acting as the interim director missions for our local association of churches.  That and helping my family get ready for baby number 4 (!) has meant less time for blogging.  Nevertheless, with the celebrations of Holy Week over, and things cooling down around the association, extra time is popping up and I’m back (for a little while anyway!).

So, as things get going again, here’s an open question to my readers: do you have any recommendations on good resources for the book of Jonah?  I’ve finished my long-running series on the whole Bible and am coming back to regular book series beginning with Jonah.  What’s been helpful to you as you’ve sought to understand this prophetic book?  Please post your suggestions in the comments section below!

I know this isn’t referencing a “study book” etc., but in ch. 5 of Keller’s “King’s Cross” he talks compares Jonah’s experience on the boat before being thrown over and Jesus’ experience w/ His disciples when they woke him up to calm the sea. I had never thought about the two events in a similar manner…still thinking on what Keller brought up, but find it very interesting.
Looking forward to God leading you through the book of Jonah and then passing it on to us!
