Last week, I began preaching a special series of Christmas sermons at my church. The series is called, “The Son of Promise.” The focus of the series is to look at four key passages that foretell the birth of Christ as a promised Son.
The series began with the promised Son of Eve from Genesis 3 (especially verse 15), showing how everything began, how humanity rebelled, and how God graciously promised a son who would crush the head of the serpent.
Over the next three weeks I will preach on the Promised Son of Abraham (Genesis 15), the Promised Son of David (2 Samuel 7), and the Promised Son of Mary (Luke). After they are preached, the sermon notes will be available here.
kudos to Mars Hill Church for such a cool photo!
